Benefits of Essential Oils – Assisting Body Systems

Essential Oil sequences have been designed to assist your body back to better health. Essential Oils have been carefully selected to assist with different conditions and illnesses that we may suffer.

Essential Oils – Systems of the Body

The human body is quite complex and divided into 11 “systems”, like our respiratory system, skeletal system, etc.  Each “system” can develop its own illnesses and problems, eg asthma belongs to the respiratory “system”, arthritis belongs to the skeletal “system”. Just like each “system” is unique, so too are essential oils. They have their own properties and unique uses. When we understand what goes with what “system” in our body, and when we understand the properties of essential oils, we will have a better understanding of what oils or combination of oils to use to bring us back into homeostasis (balance) to improve our health and wellbeing. This could be as simple as getting a good night’s sleep!

To help you get a better understanding of these different “systems”, I have included tables below. This will give you an idea of the function (or what happens here), the body parts that are included (the parts of the body that makes up that “system”) and some common conditions that would likely happen with that “system”. Once you have a clearer understanding of this, then you are on your way to knowing which set of oils to apply to help with that “system”.
